Great place to do work and have a drink. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Their acai bowl and London fog are delicious. Great atmosphere.

The best coffee in the area. This is the highest quality beans/roast you can get here. Excellent service, the barista was very knowledgeable about the beans sourcing and flavor profile. It's somehow one of the only places I can find a pour over and it's a good one. The vibe was good but the seating is not the best, some more comfortable chairs might be the only thing missing here.

They roast their own beans, showcasing an unwavering dedication to quality, and expertly brew them using methods like the V60. What truly sets them apart is their decision to serve coffee in ceramic cups rather than paper, which elevates both the flavor and the overall experience. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates a meticulously crafted cup of coffee.

I stumbled upon this amazing coffee shop right after I moved here, and it’s instantly become my go-to spot! The coffee is always top-notch - rich, flavorful, and just what I need to kickstart my day or an afternoon delight. But what really complements this place are their incredible biscuits and pastries. The staff is super friendly and attentive, making it feel like a warm and welcoming place. There’s something special about finding a spot where you feel truly comfortable. Here are my recommendations: - Don’t miss the biscuits! - If you can, plan some extra time - this is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your coffee. - Try different pastries with your coffee - they pair beautifully together. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great coffee and that cozy, neighborhood feel!

The Coffee Pedaler hums with quiet energy on a snowy holiday morning. Through the steamed windows, locals sink into conversations while well-behaved dogs in puffy coats rest at their feet. An expert staff navigates the morning rush, crafting espresso drinks and perfectly balanced matcha lattes that justify their premium pricing. The carefully curated coffee program draws from various roasters, offering depth without pretension. Beyond coffee, their matcha service stands out, each cup prepared with precision and care. The focused food menu, including bagels & lox, provides just enough sustenance without trying to be a full restaurant. Housed in a restored brick building, the space feels lived-in and intentional. Natural light plays across hardwood floors and exposed brick walls, while the wooden bar serves as both workspace and gathering point. Even at capacity, conversations flow easily between creepy strangers and regulars alike. The Coffee Pedaler has mastered that delicate balance between serious beverage service and genuine community space. It's a place where quality speaks for itself, and where winter-wrapped visitors linger long after their cups run dry.

I went twice! The first time, I got a hot chocolate and a lemon cake (it was more of a muffin.) The second, I got an egg and cheese biscuit and a chai latte. The man behind the counter was extremely friendly, and the egg and cheese biscuit was phenomenal. They seem to sell out somewhat quickly, and understandably so. Dogs are allowed, and I met a nice one. The hot chocolate was oddly watered down but tasted fine, and I liked the chai. (My brother drinks more chai lattes than I do, and he said that it was the best he'd ever had!) The lemon cake was the flavor you'd expect from a lemon muffin, but a better texture than many of the lemon poppyseed muffins I've had. I plan to go back whenever I'm in New Haven early in the morning, so I can eat more of the biscuits.

Ryan is the greatest guy in town! He always stocks an amazing selection of retail coffee from high quality roasters. You can expect a consistently well extracted pour over.

I took a road trip all the way from Houston with the fam and I would drive 27 again just to have coffee from this place. The service was great, really friendly environment & you can tell these people makw everything with love.
